COLLINEAR

The aim of the project is to address the specific qualification needs of the welding workforce as well as the research challenges for the sector, which will then be addressed by the identified (in the proposal phase) and nominated (during the project implementation) CoVEs that will drive the market towards a higher level of technological readiness (TRL). The project will ensure that the quality of service delivery meets the high requirements of the aerospace sector to sustain its recovery. In addition, the project aims to advance the aerospace sector by ensuring that best practices (in training and research) are identified and transferred between CoVEs during and after project implementation. Another focus of the project is to nominate 4 CoVEs for welding in the aerospace sector during the proposal phase and to continue nominating during project implementation. Finally, one of the expected outcomes of the project is the creation of a network and a procedure to sustain the aerospace welding ecosystem encompassing CoVEs, VETs, industry stakeholders and policy makers, in order to promote the practices found in the project and foster the growth of the aerospace sector.

KNOWBOND

The main objective of the KNOWBOND project is the development of a skills validation scheme for experienced workers in the field of adhesives and the definition of prior experience requirements for the recognition of prior learning (RPL).
In addition, it aims to define a more flexible vocational training scheme for these workers, according to their proven experience.
Finally, the project seeks to update the guidelines and profiles of the EAB and EAS courses, aiming for a modular structure, as well as their integration into an online platform that allows for personalised training plans.
